The story
Founder-led, from firsthand experience
Carlos Catala started Houston Credit Builders after his own path through financial hardship, and after realizing how few people are ever taught how credit actually works.
Coming up through real financial struggle, Carlos saw how much of the system depends on people simply not knowing the rules. So he taught himself: credit, money, and how the two are supposed to work together. Houston Credit Builders is what came out of that, a business built to invest in people the way he had to invest in himself, and to make financial literacy something anyone willing to learn can actually get access to.
